We really need a Rule Book up if we are going to begin rolling. Once we get our teams and then start the Rookie Entry Draft, we are going to need to know about Free Agency and Prospect Ratings and creations and whatnot. How soon can we expect to see this?

I will most likely get something up this weekend.
Free Agency won't be happening for the first season, all NHL free agents will eventually sign with an NHL team (or go overseas) and they will be assigned to that same NFHL team.
Prospect Ratings.. prospects don't have ratings, they are prospects and shall remain on your prospect list until they make the NHL. This is an NHL Rerate league. A prospect will have to play at least 10 NHL games before being created. I could however create a prospect who is playing in the AHL but they will not be over 70 overall. Some exceptions could be made (example: Jack Johnson who has played 6 NHL games but will be created, Jonathan Toews who will play for Chicago this year will be created - but only top prospects who are about to or have already played in the NHL will be exempt from this 10 game rule.)

I thought it was a FHL-rerate. =(

FHL Re-Rate = players are re-rated based on their performance in the simmed season itself
NHL Re-Rate = players are re-rated based on their performance in the real life NHL with no bearing from the simulator at all

Well, a lot of FHL re-rate leagues rerate the rosters manually based on their season performance in the simulator.
