I don't think it's that sketch. Especially since both GM's have been very active in other trades. I enquired about the price of the picks and from the sounds of things it sounded like a B prospect was that starting rate. Boychuk went for about that.

I'm not really sure why there's heat on the trade that happened between myself and the avs .... the remainder of the draft for me wasnt really important because i really didnt know the remaining draft class all that well. There was a trade earlier in this season that the wings and nyi completed where detroit gave up 2nd to 7th rd picks for 2 prospects
i had no leverage when it came to moving these picks because of the trades involving draft picks earlier in the season i attempted to get as much value out of the picks as possible while still moving them.

If a team doesn't want to utilize its late draft picks it doesn't have to.
